Jo Johnson MP attended the Petts Wood May Fayre on the first May Bank Holiday.
This wonderful annual event was blessed with sunshine this year - and the crowds came out to celebrate.
The traditional May Queen parade was followed by the crowning of this year’s May Queen, Suzanna Lovelock, by the Mayor of Bromley, Cllr Kathy Bance. Visitors also enjoyed a range of performances during the course of the afternoon, refreshments from local businesses and the much anticipated raffle.
Jo said: ‘The Petts Wood May Fayre is a fantastic festival. The community spirit is wonderful and my warm thanks go to all who make this possible. There is clearly a great deal of work which goes into planning this event as well making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.'
