Orpington resident takes on fundraising challenge

Orpington resident Ray Betts is taking on a 24-hour treadmill challenge to raise money for Olivia Falconer, who has cerebral palsy. Olivia, a student at Midfield Primary School, benefits greatly from physiotherapy sessions which help her enjoy a more active lifestyle. Mr Betts is raising money to help with the costs of her physiotherapy sessions. Cerebral palsy affects movement and coordination, meaning physiotherapy can provide significant benefits.

Mr Betts will be undertaking his challenge on 18 February at Energie Fitness in Bromley, beginning at 12pm (midday) running until 12pm the following day. Donations can be made in cash on the day or online using the GoFundMe link below.

Jo said: ‘The best of luck to Ray as he attempts 24 hours on a treadmill. I hope everyone who can will choose to donate to help support Olivia and her family.’

More information about Olivia can be found on her Facebook page here and donations can be made through GoFundMe here.
