Charities, social enterprises, community groups, state-funded schools and colleges in Orpington are being encouraged to apply for a NatWest Skills and Opportunities Fund grant.
First launched in 2015, the fund is providing grants of up to £35,000 for not-for-profit organisations that help people achieve qualifications, find work or start a business. NatWest have allocated £2.5 million of funding to be split across two rounds in 2017.
Organisations are able to submit an application for this round of funding until midday on Friday 24 February.
Orpington MP, Jo Johnson, said: ‘I am very pleased that the NatWest Skills and Opportunities Fund is helping people to develop the vital skills they need to get on in life. I hope that organisations in Orpington will take this opportunity to apply for a grant.’
