Jo visits Manor Oak Primary School

On Friday afternoon, Jo Johnson visited Manor Oak Primary School on Sweeps Lane in St Mary Cray.

During his visit, Jo met with Manor Oak’s Headteacher, Jane Butler, to discuss the school and the senior leadership’s vision for the future. Jo was then given a quick tour by Year 6 Junior Leaders, before moving outside to watch the school’s football team.

Jo said: ‘Manor Oak Primary is a friendly and welcoming school that caters for pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds. The staff, led by the Headteacher Miss Butler, have created an atmosphere in which pupils are able to grow and succeed.

‘I particularly enjoyed being shown around by the Year 6 Junior Leaders and to hear about their exciting plans for the future.’
