Homes in Borkwood Court, off Sevenoaks Road, were left damaged by the recent storms and residents may well find themselves now facing an uphill battle with insurance companies.
Mr Johnson said: "My thoughts are with residents as they try and repair the destruction left by the weather. I want to thank Bromley Council, and in particular Cllr Colin Smith, deputy leader, for their swift response."
The MP met insurance industry leaders last week in Downing Street to discuss how they were helping people affected by floods.
He added: "We had a positive and constructive meeting with the insurance industry on the steps that they are taking to get people back on their feet as quickly as possible after the flooding, which has been a tragedy for all those affected.
"We are continuing to take action across the board to ensure that everything that can be done is being done. Insurers have a critical role to play and by working closely together we will continue to ensure that the help and support which people need is available."
